Who we are

This website is operated by d.Code Mobility (Pty) Ltd ("d.Code Mobility", "we", "us"), a company registered in South Africa with its offices at Regency Terrace Block A, Route 21 Corporate Park, 81 Regency Drive, Irene, 0062. For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), d.Code Mobility is the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect

We collect personal information in two ways.

• Information you give us directly through the contact form on this site: first name, last name, company name, work email address, phone number, the product you are interested in, and any message you type.
• Basic technical information collected automatically by our web server and hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps. This is standard server log data used for security and reliability, not for tracking individuals.

This site does not use cookies beyond those strictly necessary for it to function, and we do not run any analytics or advertising tracking on it. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Why we collect it

We use the information submitted through the contact form to respond to your enquiry, arrange and prepare for demonstrations, provide quotes, and follow up on the specific request you made. We do not use it for any purpose unrelated to that enquiry, and we do not add you to marketing lists without a separate, explicit opt-in.

Our legal basis for processing

We process the information you submit on the basis of your consent, given when you complete and send the contact form. Where relevant, we also rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries directed to us, which we have weighed against your rights and interests and consider does not override them.

Who we share it with

Contact form submissions are delivered to us through Formspree, a third-party form-processing service that receives and forwards the data you submit to our team's email inboxes. Formspree acts as an operator on our instructions and does not use your information for its own purposes. We do not sell, rent or otherwise trade personal information to any third party, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form enquiries, including any related correspondence, for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted unless a longer period is required to complete an active engagement, quote or contract discussion with you.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

• ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you and to access it;
• ask us to correct or update information that is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated;
• ask us to delete personal information we no longer have a valid reason to keep;
• object to our processing of your information on reasonable grounds; and
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) if you believe we have not handled your information properly.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we hold against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including restricting access to enquiry data to the staff who need it to respond to you.

Children

This website and its contact form are intended for business use by adults representing their organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
